"The Portrait in Oils "

Class description : The first two classes will be dedicated to exploring the principals of capturing the portrait . Students will study the the construction of the head and its individual features. In the last two classes students will paint from a live model. Composition and and mixing skin color will be covered.
Dates: January 11-18-25 & February 1st, four consecutive Sundays
Time:10:30 am-3:30 pm
Cost: $135 Cost includes oil paints, mediums, solvent, palette, use of easel and printed instruction packet. This is a great oppertunity to try oil paints without the investment.

Landscape Painting

This workshop will explore the principals of the Landscape and Composition. Students can work on their own projects or one will be provided for. Cost includes oil paints, mediums, solvent, palette, use of easel and printed instruction packet. This is a great oppertunity to try oil paints without the costly investment in oil paints.


Date: Sundays April 19-26, May 3 & 17th ( May 10th is Mother's Day)
Time: 10 am - 3:30 pm

Geraldine Arata received her Master’s Degree at the prestigious Academy of Art University, San Francisco. She has been privileged to have studied with world renowned Artist such as William Maughan, Zhaoming Wu, Warren Chang, Kevin Moore, Tomutsu Takishima, Mark Tennant, and Dean Larson and Morgan Weistling.

Before attending the Academy, Arata studied four years with Johnnie Lilliedalh in Texas and is a certified teacher from Liliedahl’s “The School of Oil Painting.” Liliedahl is famous for her intense information packed workshops, which Arata has modeled her workshops after. Now you can benefit from Arata’s education by attending one of her workshops
